Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement Versus Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair

There has been a recent trend toward not fixing larger rotator cuff tears in older patients and proceeding directly to Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement (a special type of replacement that compensates for a lack of an intact rotator cuff). Many shoulder experts, including Dr. Tauro, think that this is often not the best treatment.
