Dr. Joseph Tauro, Director of Ocean County Sports Medicine, was part of a distinguished faculty of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Orthopedists from across the globe at the Orthopedic Summit, which was held December 4-6, 2014, at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Tauro’s lectures included new and improved ways of repairing shoulder ligaments arthroscopically as well as techniques to re-repair failed rotator cuff repairs, which is one of Dr. Tauro’s unique specialties.
The two and a half day event included a myriad of educational opportunities including lunchtime symposia, rapid-fire debates, cutting-edge lectures and hands-on workshops on the latest cutting-edge techniques in arthroscopy and sports medicine, knee, shoulder, foot/ankle and hip repair. The CME accredited Orthopedic Summit 2014 also allowed attendees to build relationships with internationally renowned professionals in the field, including sports medicine and arthroscopy surgery orthopedists, fellows, residents, physical assistants, nurse practitioners and physician therapists.
Dr. Tauro is a nationally-recognized pioneer in advanced orthopedic care for surgical and non-surgical procedures. He is recognized worldwide as an innovator in the development of advanced minimally invasive treatment methods and procedures for complex sports injuries and degenerative joint conditions. Dr. Tauro is one of the earliest pioneers in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and is responsible for the development of the most advanced technique for arthroscopic rotator cuff repair procedures used today.Leave a reply
